Teresa Hei and Kelly Yudin consider themselves global-minded and believe in the importance of preparing children early for an increasingly global world.  They recognize the advantage of teaching children Mandarin Chinese from a young age.  Ni Hao Productions, LLC was founded when Teresa and Kelly perceived a void in quality, Mandarin Chinese educational language DVDs for preschoolers.  They designed the DVDs around colorful and familiar toys that children enjoy watching.  Their primary focus is that the DVDs must be fun and entertaining, while educational.  Additionally, they tested their ideas with parent focus-groups and a language specialist, whose feedback was incorporated into the DVD.

Teresa was born in Taipei, Taiwan and immigrated with her family to California when she was ten years old.  She maintains fluency in spoken Mandarin, and hopes that her children will master and value the language.  Preserving a Mandarin-speaking household has been a priority to Teresa, whose children will be increasingly in a position to capitalize on their bilingual capabilities as they grow up.

Kelly's world traveling experience has allowed her to become fluent in Russian, French, and Italian.  Kelly's two children are fluent in Mandarin, and she believes that this foundation gives her children an expanded world view and a competitive edge in the global market place.
